What do we instantly do on going to a web service. Check for free trials, YES ! However the very last thing one would do is to click Contact me. You and me will be weary of practising long and cumbersome procedures of contacting an online product site before it actually makes us proximal to the product.

But the world, statistically is not like that. Now the hurdle here is the inclination of budding entrepreneurs towards premium type products that could be accessed only through subscription. This absolutely works in the favour of these entrepreneurs. Well, they can very rapidly generate a good revenue. At least revenue of 1 million in a go. I mean good enough to compensate atleast the startup value.

 So the real play begins after this threshold of 1 million is reached. Now what !  Will this growth be exponential ? Will it halt ? Are these 1 million going to turn to 10 million ? Keep selling the product to the remaining 15 % of the world ? That’s definitely not a good idea. It is a fiasco.

The good idea is to learn at a very early stage what the 85% of the world wants from you. Make sure you sell what they want. The option of contact me for once is easy for the customers. If the product does not suits them or is not catering to the needs, the ignore button helps them here as they are not paying from the pockets but from their budget.

It is important to decipher as a founder what solution you provide to their problem. That is what a sales person does. We may consider it last to talk to a salesperson but they do a very crucial job, contributing in making the decision making of entrepreneur easy. Also, there is no plethora of innovations each year. May be just one or two to solve a particular problem.  So, bring the real solution out.

Get more plausible demos that accommodate wide areas of probable queries.

Just after your first transaction, the customer will be even more curious to get something novel. Different than what was envisioned before. Make changes and deliver differently to make the customer adhere to you.

Work coercively to understand who those 85 % are. If this puzzle is solved, you can easily extrapolate your initial revenue of 1 million.
